Today, at around 07:30, the National Security Service of the Artsakh Republic was informed that Armen Verdyan, 50, a resident of Aygestyan village of Askeran district, was missing.

It was later revealed that Verdyan lost his way, crossed to the areas under Azerbaijani control and was captured by Azeri troops. The incident was immediately reported to the Russian peacekeepers. Negotiations are underway to return him to the Armenian side.
