Deputy Minister of Health Gevorg Simonyan wrote on his Facebook page:  “The epidemic situation of COVID continues to be tense both in the world and in the Republic of Armenia. 7.858 cases were registered during 14 days, which increased by 125% as compared to the same period previously (3.487 cases). The reproduction rate of the infection (in 7 days) as of 16.03.2021 is 1.48, which means that in the next 7 days about 6.820 new cases will be registered, which is about 69% of those currently receiving treatment”.
