After we lost Chakaten road, 4 villages remain blocked – Vahe Hakobyan

Our defeat in the war is continuous, we have new problems every day, we lost the Goris-Kapan and Kapan-Chakaten roads, the former governor of Syunik, now Hayastan faction MP Vahe Hakobyan said at the press conference of the NA’s Armenia faction.
“We have an alternative road, H-46, which connects Goris with Kapan through Tatev, but that road is problematic. That project was made with many mistakes, we already have big traffic jams, and there is no snow yet, there is no fog,” said Hakobyan.
He said by losing the road to Chakaten, 600 residents of Sarashen, Chakaten, Shikahogh and Verin Hand villages found themselves in a difficult situation. If before they used to cross 10 kilometers to reach Kapan, now they have to go through 150 kilometers around Meghri and Kajaran to reach Kapan.
Hakobyan said that instead of solving the security issue, the government is busy with performances, changing the defense minister. “Why was Minister of Defense Arshak Karapetyan fired because he did not show resistance or vice versa? Why does the public not know about the reasons for his dismissal? What has Suren Papikyan to do with the Ministry of Defense?”
