11.11.2021 | 17:09At its meeting today, the cabinet passed a decision to extend until June 20, 2022 the preventive and anti-epidemic measures applied during quarantine.
Accordingly, there will be no more PCR testing points at the airport and land border crossing checkpoints for non-Armenian citizens. Instead, they will have to submit a certificate confirming the negative result of the PCR test, up to 72 hours old, fully vaccinated against coronavirus, two doses, certifying that the second dose was injected at least 14 days before the date of entry into the country.
In addition, there will be more restrictions inside the country.
PM Pashinyan noted that a slight stabilization is observed in terms of deaths.
“I call on all citizens of Armenia, I urge, I ask first to observe the anti-epidemic rules, in particular, wearing a mask is the core, and the second – to be vaccinated. I am convinced by my own example that vaccination is the way to help us fight the coronavirus and avoid death,” he said.
