At today’s meeting, the government passed a decision to allot funds for the electricity, gas supply and communication services, as well as for the salaries, benefits, pensions, healthcare expenditures of the Artsakh population for November 2021.

Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan said that the amount is 13.575 billion drams (about US $28 million). This is the fifth such decision made every month.”

PM Pashinyan said that the 2022 budget envisages allocating 144 billion drams to Artsakh.

“Over the past year, we have already allocated about 120 billion drams to Artsakh. It is also possible to move from step-by-step support programs to development programs as smoothly as possible so that the tax collection generation mechanism works in Artsakh as well. And it should be noted that it works. The Artsakh government has had much higher tax revenues than planned for 2020, which is a very important fact. We will continue to support the Artsakh Republic in its socio-economic recovery and development,” he said.
