Armenian Ambassador to the United States Lilit Makunts had an online meeting on September 30 with Congressman David Valadao, Aemnian Embassy in the US said.

They discussed a number of issues aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, in this context, the role of the US Congress. Ambassador Makunts briefed the congressman on the challenges posed by the Azerbaijani aggression against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and the humanitarian crisis. In this regard, she thanked the congressman for raising the above-mentioned issues, as well as for coming up with legislative initiatives.
