Azerbaijani army thwarts ‘all provocations’ by Karabakh army – Azerbaijani defense minister

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov said at a meeting with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar that the Azerbaijani army has prevented all “provocations” by the Artsakh Defense Army. He added that it will continue to prevent possible provocations in the Azerbaijani territory of Karabakh, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, by possible illegal Armenian armed groups.
He also said that the Azeri army allegedly “fully fulfills all the requirements of the trilateral statement.” According to the reports, Klaar has said the EU is ready to provide appropriate assistance to ensure peace in the region.
