The Turkish president on Tuesday received the Azerbaijani defense minister and the chief of general staff, said the presidency on Twitter.

Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov and Chief of General Staff Karim Valiyev were received by Erdogan at the presidential complex in the capital Ankara.

Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and Yasar Guler also attended the meeting.
