Negotiations on unblocking the Karmrakar-Shurnukh and Goris-Vorotan road sections have resumed, Syunik Lieutenant Governor Narek Babayan told Factor.am, adding that he has no news at what stage the negotiation process currently is.

Kapan mayor Gevorg Parsyan told us that the talks had resumed as of 15:51 ․”The Armenian side was waiting for the Azeris side in the mentioned place, but they arrived late,” he said, adding that today, the Russian peacekeepers brought bread to Vorotan.

Azeri troops blocked the Karmrakar-Shurnukh section of the Kapan-Goris interstate road in the morning of August 25. Vehicles in that area were evacuated. Azeri armed forces had also blocked the road from Goris to Vorotan.
