The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is calm at the moment, Col. Samvel Asatryan of the Armenian Army has told the Armenpress news agency.
He said following some tension at the border, especially in the Nakhijevan section, a number of media outlets are publishing strories that trigger panic and a negative impact not only on the population, but also create certain obstacles for the Armenian military.
“The Armenian Armed Forces fulfill its tasks with full responsibility, is ready for any development, expects the full trust and support of the public,” he added.
