Azerbaijan’s Aliyev, Russian Deputy PM discuss trilateral working group on unblocking

13.07.2021 | 17:03Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk in Baku today, local media reported, citing Aliyev’s press service.
“Issues related to the activities of the trilateral working group chaired by deputy prime ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia were discussed during the conversation,” the statement said.
In addition, Aliyev and Overchuk discussed issues related to bilateral relations between the two countries, noting with satisfaction that the Azerbaijani agricultural exports are growing. “Issues of further improvement of the Azerbaijani-Russian border checkpoints were also discussed. It was noted that the increase in the volume of transportation through the North-South corridor is actively underway,” the statement went on saying, adding that the parties exchanged views cooperation in trade, economic, transport and other fields.
