U.S. Ambassador to Armenia meets with ARF leaders

U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy met with the members of the ARF Supreme Body. The meeting took place at the initiative of the ambassador.
The ambassador emphasized her interest in the political priorities and programs adopted by the party agreed with post-electoral developments.
Supreme Body member Ishkhan Saghatelyan briefed on the concerns and assessments of the party and Armenia bloc on the political atmosphere formed in Armenia, on election rigs, staff cuts. He stressed that Armenia’s security challenges and Artsakh issue continue to be priority on their agenda.
Ambassador Tracy said the United States will stay committed to their assistance to Armenia’s democratic, economic and social management.
She also stressed that she will closely follow the issue of displaced from Nagorno Karabakh as well as assist the efforts to return of Armenian detainees.
