Commissioner Oliver Varhe to visit South Caucasus

European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Oliver Varhey is set to pay a visit to Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on July 6-9, the office of the EU Delegation to Armenia reported.
The report said that this is the Commissioner’s first visit to the countries of the South Caucasus․ The visit will take place after the approval of the economic-investment plan today, which aims to support the reconstruction, resilience and implementation of the revised agenda for reforms with the Eastern Partnership countries. During the meetings with the representatives of the political leadership, the business environment, the civil society actors, the Commissioner Oliver Varhe will present the regional economic-investment plan, the programs of leading capacity for each country. He will discuss key issues of bilateral relations with each of the three countries.
