The Dutch parliament has passed a new resolution with an overwhelming majority of votes, in which the parliament appeals to the government not to attend the EURO 2020 quarterfinals game in Baku, if the Dutch national team wins in Budapest. The Federation of Armenian Organizations of the Netherlands took an active part in the process of adopting the resolution, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Netherlands reported.

“Given that the ceasefire agreement was violated in Nagorno Karabakh and that in violation of the international law, more than 200 Armenian prisoners of war are still being held, including in Baku, where there is also a ‘Military Trophy Park’. the government is urged not to send a government delegation to Baku if the Dutch national team participates in a football match in Baku,” the resolution reads.
