CSTO ready to expand participation of OSCE representatives in its activities

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is ready to expand the participation of OSCE representatives in its activities, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas said after his visit to OSCE Secretariat with OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid, TASS reported.
“We intend to hold such high-level meetings in the future. It is necessary to expand the participation in each other’s activities. We are ready to increase the participation of the OSCE representatives in our activities, both in the military and in other fields,” Zas said. He added that the CSTO and the OSCE will strengthen cooperation in the field of border protection and cyber security.
“Today, the need to develop cooperation in other fields was raised – protection of borders, fight against cybercrime, as a topical issue, which we are already dealing with. There are also new proposals,” he said.
