At the beginning of the Yerevan Council of Elders special session today, the newly elected mayor, Hrachya Sargsyan, announced that My Step faction members Hayk Marutyan, a former Yerevan mayor, as well as Pavel Mazmanyan, Lilit Pipoyan and Ruben Hayrapetyan had submitted resignation letters.

He also said that My Step faction member Vahe Gevorgyan has submitted a letter saying he was leaving the faction but continues to be a member of the Council of Elders, working in the relevant commission.

Sargsyan also said that the Misak Sargsyan will replace Grigor Yeritsyan.
