Artsakh resident tortured by Azeri troops when in captivity

Mihran Musayelyan, 62, a resident of Artsakh’s Martuni region, who accidently crossed to the area under Azerbaijani control on November 23, 2021, was returned to the Armenian side on November 26 through the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan wrote.
A preliminary medical examination revealed that Musayelyan had been subjected to violence by Azeri troops. The conclusion of the forensic medical examination, which was presented today by the Prosecutor’s Office of Artsakh, confirmed the fact. Musayelyan received a number of injuries as a result of violence, torture and inhuman treatment by Azeris.
