Armenian, Azerbaijani FMs to meet in Sweden tomorrow

The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet tomorrow in Sweden on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Conference, EU Foreign Ministry spokesman Luc Devigne said today. He also reminded that the leaders of both Armenia and Azerbaijan are invited to take part in the Eastern Partnership summit on December 15, noting that EU Council President Charles Michel will have meetings with the leaders of the two countries.
“The situation remains tense. After the clashes in mid-November on the internationally recognized border, it can be emphasized that serious incidents on the internationally recognized border, not in Nagorno-Karabakh, are disturbing,” Devigne said. He added that the EU responded accordingly by talking to the leaders of the two countries the day after the clashes, calling for an end to hostilities.
