Azerbaijan has handed over to Armenia two Armenian citizens, one of whom was taken prisoner during the November 16 border clashes, TASS reported, citing the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Citizens of Azerbaijan.

One of them, Arin Aramyan, was wounded during the hostilities on November 16, 2021, and was taken captive, and the other one, Mihran Musayelyan, is a 21-year-old resident of Ashan village of Artsakh’s Martuni region, who got lost and crossed into an area under the control of Azerbaijan.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the report.
