Civil Party faction head speaks about Azerbaijani attrocities at his meeting with US ambassador

Head of National Assembly’s Civil Contract Faction Hayk Konjoryan on November 10 met with US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy.
Konjoryan highlighted the inter-parliamentary cooperation in the relations between the two countries. He highly assessed the support of the U.S. in the reforms aimed at strengthening democracy in Armenia.
Konjoryan spoke about the urgent return of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan and the provocative actions by Azerbaijan, as a consequence of which on October 8 near Shushi a civilian was killed.
Lynne Tracy noted that the United States would continue the close cooperation with the Armenian authorities in different spheres, and the inter-parliamentary cooperation format essentially could promote the deepening of the effective collaboration.
