Armenia ranks 20th in the world in the number of deaths from Covid-19 per 1 million inhabitants, according to the worldometers.info website.

At least 2,255 people per 1 million population in Armenia have died since the spread of Covid-19.

Peru (5,967 deaths per 1 million population), Bulgaria (3,646 deaths) and Bosnia-Herzegovina (3,602 deaths) are in the top three. In terms of deaths per 1 million population in the region, Armenia is ahead of Georgia, which ranks 12th (2641 deaths). Azerbaijan is in 97th place (708 deaths), Turkey is in 87th place (843 deaths), Iran is in 52nd place (1,490 deaths).

Some 6,220 tests of Covid-19 were carried out in Armenia during the last day, of which 810 were confirmed; 30 deaths were registered. Thus, a total of 321,243 cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed, of which 282,866 recovered; 30,340 patients receive actual treatment. A total of 6,700 deaths from coronavirus have been reported. A total of 2,183,118 tests were performed.
