Turkish FM says holding consultations with Azerbaijan on relations with Armenia

28.10.2021 | 17:44In an interview with CNNTurk, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu spoke also about the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. He said that “consultations are being held with Azerbaijan on relations with Armenia.”
Cavusolgy added that they are receiving “certain positive signals on the opening of the border” from Armenia.
“During President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Fizuli and Zangelan regions, I met with my Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov. We have carefully discussed those issues. There are positive signals from Armenia. After the conflict, Azerbaijan offers to sign a peace agreement with Armenia, but Armenia has not yet responded positively. We have repeatedly stated that we will act in relations with Armenia in communication with Azerbaijan, our position remains unchanged,” he added.
