Opposition MP wants deputy defence minister to clarify rumors about tension on border

There are rumors that there is tension in Gegharkunik, on the state border, what really happened, how many people are injured in the grenade explosion, what does that have to do with the tension, Taguhi Tovmasyan, an MP from the I Have Honor faction, asked Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan at the National Assembly session.
The Minister mentioned that at this moment he will refrain from answering that question, as he does not have any clear information.
“I did not receive such information when leaving the Ministry of Defense. If there is anything before the end of the session, I will urge our news service to issue a statement as soon as possible.”
Taguhi Tovmasyan noted that the Ministry of Defense has never been prompt when reporting on border incidents.
