“The parliamentary opposition has always said that all in-parliament instruments and all extra-parliament opportunities should be used,” Artsvik Minasyan, a member of the Armenia faction, said at a joint parliamentary briefing today when presenting the forthcoming steps of the opposition.

“One of those tools is the tool of the inquiry commission; at the moment the issue of using the funds by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund and transferring them to the Armenian government is on the agenda. It is about the means that were collected immediately after September 27, 2020, aimed at supporting our state during the war. The second instrument, which is available in tomorrow’s session, is the discussion on an urgent topic of public interest envisaged by the NA Rules of Procedure, the Constitution. It refers to the situation on the line of contact between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the problems of demarcation. These days, as this issue becomes even more valuable in the face of excessive information flows, we intend not only to have one of the most effective discussions, but also to finally propose a draft statement addressed not only to the international community, our citizens, but also to the executive branch,” he added.
