Lithuania donates 50,000 doses of Moderna vaccine to Armenia
Lithuania has delivered 50,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine produced by the Moderna promised by Lithuanian Prime Minister a few days ago.
The ceremony took place on the evening of October 4 at Vilnius Airport, when a delegation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was returning to Armenia. Lithuania has provided humanitarian assistance in response to a request from Armenia based on a bilateral agreement through the EU Vaccine Exchange Mechanism. During the official visit, the ministers of health of Lithuania and Armenia signed a cooperation agreement.
This is the first time that Lithuania has donated Moderna vaccines.
