Vaccines available in Armenia meet all standards, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan told journalists today after the Government meeting.
“The purpose of the vaccine is to reduce the morbidity rate, and that is achieved by all the vaccines that are available in Armenia,” she said.
Speaking about the absence of Pfizer vaccine in Armenia, she said that when making a comparison, it becomes obvious that the picture is almost identical in case of application of all vaccines. When asked when the Pfizer vaccine will be available in Armenia, she did not specify a date, saying that there are constant delays in the delivery of vaccines, and that it is not only Armenia’s fault.
