The Foreign Ministers of Russia and France on September 23 discussed the situation in Nagorno Karabakh in New York on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, Russian Foreign Ministry said. Sergey Lavrov and Jean-Yves Le Drian expressed readiness to continue working to stabilize the situation in Nagorno Karabakh, first of all through the OSCE Minsk Group.

A number of regional developments were also discussed, which are of mutual interest. Russia, France and the United States are the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.
