Representatives of Artsakh’s Human Rights Defender’s Office visited a number of schools on September 15 and 16 in Askeran region and had meetings with teachers and students.
During the visits, the basic rights of children were presented, special reference was made to the right of children to education, which was followed by discussions and questions. The teachers raised a number of issues related to the organization of the educational process, school building conditions, lack of shelters, as well as water supply.
