Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry silent on meeting with Minsk Group’s French co-chair

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov Yesterday received a delegation led by Frederic Mondoloni, Director of the Continental European Department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said, issues related to the current regional security, including the implementation of the trilateral statement and cooperation with international organizations were discussed during the meeting. It is reported that Bayramov drew the French side’s attention to the visit of the members of the French National Assembly to Artsakh and noted that such visits allegedly harm the establishment of peace in the region in the post-conflict phase.
It is noteworthy that the French delegation also included French Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Stephane Visconti. This is evidenced by the photos of the meeting, which, by the way, were published by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, without mentioning Visconti’s participation in the meeting
Recently Stefan Visconti was in Armenia on a visit, during that time he met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
