The European Men’s Individual Chess Championship is over in Reykjavik, armsport.am reported.

In the last round, Hovhannes Gabuzyan ended his match in a draw. As a result, he scored 7 points and took the 19th place in the tournament. Thus, he is among 23 players who qualified for the World Cup. Hayk Martirosyan and Gabriel Sargsyan have 7 points in their assets, but they were not included in the list of the top 23.

Robert Hovhannisyan and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan scored 6.5 and 6 points respectively in the tournament. Anton Demchenko from Russia was declared the European champion with 8.5 points.
