Former president’s lawyer sues tycoon for slander

Former President Serzh Sargsyan’ s attorney Amram Makinyan has filed a lawsuit against the NA member Khachatur Sukiasyan, demanding a refute of the information discrediting Serzh Sargsyan. Talking to journalists, Makinyan said they demand that Khachatur Sukiasyan to refute the claims he had made from the floor of the National Assembly.
“This regime has generated a very large amount of lies, as a result of that lie they have been able to divide the society into whites and blacks. I declare that from now on, we will go after any lie and this regime will no longer have the opportunity to use our good will and patience,” Makinyan said.
He added that they demanded Khachatur Sukiasyan one million drams as compensation for the damage, which must be paid in full to the Soldiers’ Insurance Fund.
