Russia’s defence ministry said on Tuesday it would hold naval drills in the Caspian Sea with small missile and artillery ships from Iran, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in early September.

The ARMI-2021 Sea Cup, which is being held in Iran for the first time (Azerbaijan has been the host country for the past few years), involves small missile ships from the navies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran and Russia.
