The European Junior Boxing Championship, held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is over with brilliant results for Armenian boxers.

According to the Boxing Federation of Armenia, 10 of our 17 athletes headed by coaches Artur Melkumyan, Armen Baghdasaryan and Hovhannes Sharbatyan rose to the podium. Spartak Nahapetyan (50 kg) representing Shirak and Andranik Martirosyan (57 kg) representing the Sevan Sports Union (57 kg) defeated all their rivals and stood on the highest step of the platform of honor. Moreover, Spartak Nahapetyan defeated his opponent by a knockout. Vazgen Karhanyan (48 kg), Argishti Hakobyan (63 kg), Davit Nikoghosyan (75 kg) won a silver medal each, Vahagn Galstyan (42 kg), Lyova Kirakosyan (70 kg), Karen Petrosyan (80 kg), Victoria Zakaryan (38 kg) and Heghine Petrosyan (42 kg) took the 3rd place.
