Specialists of all types of troops of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces are launching large-scale tactical exercises in the south of Russia with the involvement of the Air Force and the Black Sea and Caspian Fleet, Interfax reported, citing the press service of the Southern Military District.

These exercises will also be held at the Russian military base in Armenia. It is said that the tactical and special military exercises will be held from August 9 to September 15 in “Asrakhan and Rostov regions, Stavropol and Kuban, Adygea, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Chechnya, Crimea, as well as in Armenia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.”
