Karen Bekaryan, the co-founder of “Qaryak Media”, former deputy of the Republican party of Armenia, was detained by the National security service of Armenia. Prior to his arrest, his house was searched by the National security service. According to Bekaryan’s lawyer, the search was carried out within the framework of the criminal case initiated in the NSS.

“The search permit was given by Judge Manvel Shahverdyan. They mentioned that the case was related to publications made with some fake pages during the war. At the moment no other details are available.
