Parliament has elected Ishkhan Saghatelyan, nominated by the opposition, as the National Assembly deputy speaker on the third attempt. Out of 107 MPs, 103 took part in the voting, two ballots were declared invalid, 64 deputies voted for, 37 against.

Yesterday, a secret ballot was held twice, but 54 votes in favor of Saghatelyan’s election were not enough twice.
