French President Emanuel Macron and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had a telephone conversation, TASS reported, citing an Elysee Palace statement.
“The Presidents of Azerbaijan and France, Ilham Aliyev and Emanuel Macron, have agreed to work together to strengthen stability in the region with the support of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs,” the statement said. The two leaders noted the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts to achieve regional stability.
Azerbaijan has not yet issued a statement on the telephone conversation between Macron and Aliyev.
