The Criminal Court of Appeals rejected today the defense’s appeal and upheld the July 16 ruling of the Court of First Instance to keep Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan under detention.

According to the National Security Service investigation, Arushanyan, the number 32 on the Armenia bloc’s electoral list is, has conspired a serious crime of bribing two or more voters in order to secure maximum votes in favor of his bloc.
