A joint military exercise called “Caucasian Eagle” was launched in Ankara on August 3, with the participation of special units of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, ermenihaber reported.
The military exercises will end on August 8. The purpose of the exercise is to strengthen cooperation between the special forces of all parties, exchange of experience and knowledge, as well as increase the level of joint operations.
Ukraine participates in it as an observer country. One special unit, one contract sniper, two multifunctional helicopters and one heavy transport helicopter will take part in the drills.
