Azerbaijani troops open fire at Armenian positions in Yeraskh – MOD

Armenian Ministry of Defense issued a statement today, saying that on July 30, between 11:20 and 11:30, the Azerbaijani forces opened fire from sniper rifles and firearms of different calibers at the Armenian position near the Yersakh section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The statement said that the enemy’s fire was silenced by retaliatory actions. No victims from the Armenian side reported.
An earlier statement by the MOD said that on July 29, at 23:00, Azerbaijani drones attempted to intrude the Republic of Armenia airspace in the Gegharkunik section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Armenian Ministry of Defense said in a statement. The Armenian air defense units hit an Azerbaijani Aerostar drone, the fragments of which fell 3.5 kilometers north of the village of Vanevan in Gegharkunik Province.
