Azerbaijani parliament speaker says “Zangezur corridor” to become new corridor from Pakistan to Turkey

The Speaker of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova spoke today about the so-called “Zangezur Corridor” during the first trilateral sitting of the Speakers of the Parliaments of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan, local media reported.
“The Zangezur Corridor will become a new corridor from brotherly Pakistan to Turkey and Azerbaijan,” Gafarova said. She said the new three-dimensional platform serves the close union of the three countries. “Baku declaration will be adopted during the trilateral meeting. It will mention the importance of inter-parliamentary dialogue, the expansion of cooperation, the importance of parliamentary support in international affairs. I consider it possible to assist Azerbaijan in getting maps of minefields,” she said.
