A Karabakh Defense Army serviceman was fatally wounded on July 26 while carrying out combat duty.

The preliminary investigation launched immediately after the incident has revlealed that Sargis Grigoryan has fired a single shot in his chest from an AK automatic rifle. The investigation continues.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense said in a statement it shared the grief of the loss and expressed its support to the family members, relatives and friends of the deceased serviceman.
