Nathalie Loiseau, a French Member of the European Parliament, Chairman of the Security and Defense Subcommittee of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Head of the La Republique en Marche Party Delegation to the Council of Europe, who is visiting Armenian, paid a visit to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial on July 20.
“She was accompanied by the head of the Armenian delegation to PACE, chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, Ruben Rubinyan. Loiseau laid flowers at the eternal flame commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide. She said she was very impressed with the museum. She added that the whole world should know and remember the Armenian Genocide so that it will never happen again. She also highlighted the issue of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide. The French MP, making a note in the Book of Honorary Guests, mentioned: “The whole world should recognize the Armenian Genocide like France did.”
