Kremlin reveals Putin-Aliyev talks agenda

19.07.2021 | 17:12Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to meet tomorrow with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev, a Kremlin press release says.
Key issues of further strengthening the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership, focusing on trade, investment and humanitarian cooperation, is on agenda of the meeting.
“It is planned to exchange views on current regional issues. The main focus will be on the practical aspects of the implementation of the November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021 agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan on Nagorno Karabakh, including lifting the blockade, development of transport and economic ties,” it goes on saying.
Earlier today, the Russian president’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov said no document is expected to be signed during the visit.
