A regular hearing in a fabricated criminal case against 13 prisoners of war from Armenia’s Shirak Province scheduled for today in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes was postponed until July 26 because one of the defenders’ attorney could not be present, Azerbaijani media reported.

Those standing the trial are: Rafik Karapetyan, Hrayr Tadevosyan, Gurgen Galoyan, Vagharshak Maloyan, Sasun Yeghiazaryan, Arsen Vardanyan, Vahagn Baghrikyan, Sedrak Soghomonyan, Arman Dilanyan, Manuk Martonyan, Mels Anbartanyan, Andranik Mikayelyan, Feliks Grigoryan.

The previous court session was held on July 5, the first one on June 23. The Armenian POWs are charged with “illegally acquiring weapons, ammunition, explosives, forming of an armed group, and illegally crossing the state border on November 17.”
