Renowned singer and songwriter Ruben Hakhverdyan has asked Diaspora Armenian celebrities  Kim Kardashian, Cherilyn Sarkisian (Cehr) and Serzh Tankian to “help us get our 200 prisoners out of Turkish or Azerbaijani prisons.”

Kardashian, Tankian, Cher and other celebrities have recently called on to join the “Teach, Armenia” initiative aimed at expanding the educational opportunities of Armenian and Artsakh students.

Hakhverdyan ran in the past parliamentary election on the European Party of Armenia, and was the number 3 on their parry list.
