Russian FM discusses return of NKR refugees and internally displaced persons with UN High Commissioner for Refugees

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov received in Moscow UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, on a working visit in Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
“The parties discussed the issue of the return of refugees and internally displaced persons to Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding areas in line with the November 9, 2020 statement of the Russian, Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders on the ceasefire in the conflict zone on,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
It was reported that during the conversation, opinions were exchanged on the problems of refugees, internally displaced persons and stateless persons, taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic.
