28.06.2021 | 18:01Armenian National Congress Vice-president Lveon Zurabyan told Factor.am today that the party is not going to dispute the early parliamentary election results at the Constitutional Court.
He said it does not make sense to apply to the Constitutional Court, because the legitimacy of the election results will be disputed by other political forces anyway.
When asked if what his expectations are from the Constitutional Court, Zurabyan said one should not have expectations from it․
“There is no sense in expecting justice from this Constitutional Court,” he concluded.
According to the official results published by the Central Electoral Commission yesterday, the Civil Contract party will have 71 seats in the 8th National Assembly, the Armenia bloc – 29, and the I Have Honor bloc – 7 seats. The last two have said that they would challenge the election results in the Constitutional Court.
