The Armenia bloc has issued a statement, which reads:

The Armenia bloc expresses its gratitude to those citizens of the Republic of Armenia who supported the bloc in the June 20, 2010 National Assembly elections and voted for it. It inspires confidence that hundreds of thousands of our citizens concerned about the country not only saw the existential threats facing the Armenian people, but also endorsed the solutions proposed by the Armenia bloc. The Armenia bloc reiterates that the results of the parliamentary election are highly controversial and do not trustworthy. We have serious grounds to consider this election illegitimate, to declare that with such results the National Assembly does not reflect the real balance of power. Our observations and reports from the election headquarters of the bloc prove that the violations started much earlier than the voting day. And the preliminary summary of the alarms of our proxies from many polling stations on the voting day proves that it is a matter of systematic, pre-planned falsification of the election results. In particular A non-competitive electoral environment was formed, administrative resources were used extensively by the current government, and acts of electoral intimidation were committed. Blackouts occurred in many polling stations as soon as the counting began. We are talking about whole communities of the provinces, such as Armavir, Lori, Shirak, Aragatsotn, etc. In many polling stations, a large number of non-locals were seen, which gives grounds to suppose that there was a system of falsification of mobile groups. An undeniable reality is the openly directed vote of the army, which secured a large number of votes for the government. There is a deep suspicion that election was rigged, which initially excludes the possibility of objective results. In some communities there are alarms about cases of hidden vote buying cases by the government. The Armenia bloc will use all the tools to challenge the election results, including appealing to the Constitutional Court. The bloc is launching political consultations with other forces participating in the elections to discuss the possibility of applying jointly to the Constitutional Court.”
