Two persons arrested on vote buying-related charges – Prosecutor’s Office

18.06.2021 | 19:08The Prosecutor’s Office has reported that based on the evidence it has acquired, a group of residents of Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district have offered 20,000 AMD drams (about US $40) each to a group of voters in the same district in exchange for voting for their bloc in the upcoming parliamentary election.
A criminal case has been launched under the Armenian Criminal Code. Two persons have been arrested.
